In recent months, we’ve looked at our Volkswagen Transporter campervan conversion and the Renault Trafic campervan which earned Renault’s own seal of approval.
We only work with three van models because we truly believe they’re the best choices for converting into campervans – they have the combination of space, reliability, and power requirements to make a good basis. For decades Ford has marketed the evolving Transit design as Britain’s best loved van, and it’s always been hard to dispute. You’ll see dozens of them running around any town or city in the country, making short-distance deliveries, carrying technicians and their tools, transporting builders and repairment to their work.
And you see just as many of them on the motorway or threading through narrow country roads well away from anywhere, bought by individual tradesmen or in dozens for the vehicle fleets of major companies with a national focus.
In all cases it’s that same mix of internal space, compact exterior for ease of navigation, fuel efficiency, and the sheer dependability of the vehicle that we look for in our vehicles.

Take the reputation – and all the qualities that underpin it – of the Ford Transit. Now apply decades of combined experience in designing and installing campervan interiors. We add diesel heaters and full insulation against bad weather.
For the good weather, we add solar panels and an inverter, all of which help to maintain a second battery with 240V hookup, multiple USB outlets, and even wireless phone charging facilities – as well as powering the fridge freezer, induction hob, and air fryer that our Transit campervan kitchen is outfitted with.
Our goal is to make your time in your van as comfortable as possible wherever you are and whatever the weather. To that end, as well as these options we can add awnings, HD projectors, and more as needed.
