Mention campervans to someone not already living the van life and the chances are good that they still picture a 1960s Volkswagen before they remember anything a little more up to date.
The modern VW Transporter van that we use for our VW campervan conversions is the direct descendant of this original vehicle, still the iconic spirit of adventure.

The original VW campervan boasted a hob powered by gas; ours offers a double hob as standard, but we also incorporate an integrated microwave and a fridge-freezer with a sizable 50l capacity. This opens up ready meals as an option for those who want to eat quick, but is also means many more options for those who want to eat well!
Better Heating
The stereotype of the old campervans doesn’t overlook the fact they got cold. Even modern campervans often have issues with heat management.
We ensure our campervan conversions are fully insulated, outfitted with wadding and with a reflective thermos-liner – and yes, we even insulate the elevating roof! Backed up with a state-of-the-art Webasto diesel heater, we make sure that even winter campervan adventures are always a satisfying trip.
Better Style?
We have to admit, that old-school campervan design is iconic. It’s not just that many people still picture them first when they hear the word ‘campervan’, but ask people to list off things they think of associated with the 1960s or 70s and there’s a good chance the VW tourer gets mentioned as part of that too.
It’s hard to compete with that, even when we offer full vinyl wrapping, two tone van colouring options, and beautiful, sturdy awnings and blinds.
So we’ll concede on this one, but we’re not saying our work doesn’t still turn heads!
