Almost a year ago, we unveiled our updated “off-grid” Renault Trafic campervan conversion at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in the NEC Birmingham.
The Renault Crusader we exhibited there was the first model of our update, and it went from Birmingham to Maple Cross, home of Renault UK. Their technicians examined this model to make officially sure it measured up to the specifications we’d already discussed with them.

We did all this because we believed so strongly in the potential for a Renault campervan conversion that we knew Renault would share our vision, and they did. Under an exclusive arrangement, the Renault Crusader is the only Renault campervan conversion available in the UK, given the manufacturer’s seal of approval.
The Trafic has long been considered one of the best commercial vans on the market, with fantastic fuel efficiency (and now an electric option), an easy drive even when heavily loaded, and known for its reliability. We knew this made it a perfect candidate for a professionally converted campervan.
